Having grown up in the hills of Perth the Jarrah/Marri forests were the first place I came to know my photography interest. Most of those early photographs are on professional slide film, many not digitised to computer.

Helena Valley Campsite Sunrise — Helena Valley Campsite Sunrise. Taken at the Helena Valley Bibbulmun Track camp site in 2002. “Ahh beautiful Fuji Velvia slide film”. Maximum hiking speed for us is about 13km/day because we’d spend a few hours stopping for photographs the whole way!
