This page contains a selection of my photographs of “The Great Comet of 2007”, that is Comet McNaught. At the time this comet was large and very much naked eye visible (including it’s magnificent tail) in the evening sky. As the months went on it moved further south where it appeared close to the Magellanic Clouds (companion galaxies of our Milky Way) in later evening allowing for a diverse range of photographs.
